  1. It’s great that Peter Polansky has pushed his ranking high enough that he was able to have a go at qualifying for Shanghai. A lot of hard work and grinding there… Anyway, he made himself “unavailable” for upcoming Davis Cup play. With the great chance of someone always possibly injured, what is the deal with that? Does he feel slighted by Tennis Canada? Has he got a grudge from them not considering him in the past when he should have been considered?

    • The qualifying at M1000s is surprisingly easy to make. I mean, in Montreal they practically go to the local clubs to fill out the draw. But the downside is that it’s a long, expensive trip if you don’t qualify and win a round in the MD.

As for Polansky and Davis Cup, a question that contains answer options is always an impossible one to respond to.
