  1. Actually, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open Final was shown on BEin Sports channel this morning at 10:00 (channel 1412 on Bell Vibe); they occasionally show lower level tournaments not shown on TSN or SportsNet.

    • Generally speaking (I don’t know about “BEin Canada”), they have a LOT of tennis rights, esp. WTA.
But it’s also an extra $15 a month or so.

  2. And no TV coverage … I have 11 channels between TSN and Sportsnet, nobody can show Tennis

    • Not sure they ever show 250-level tourneys. Only 500s and up. All of these are 250s, because they don’t have to be more. Everyone wants to play them.

      • And every Tennis fan would like to see them because they’re first of the year. Oh well, I found a way too see the matches … no doubt I’m a criminal since I didn’t pay one of our Telcos for it.

Milos started reasonably well but I couldn’t stay up for second set. From stats it appears he didn’t serve up to his level.

Djokovic and Murray today was a good match, looks like they’re both eager and ready for the open!

        • That’s the risk the WTA is running by screwing up their media strategy so badly.
People are going to find “other options”. And it’s going to be hard to get them back, especially on the streaming side.
