  1. Me read into things too much about Nestor? Yeah probably lol!

Yes I read were Nestor viewed Murray as basically #1 but that’s what I was curious about…. whether there had been any thought at all (at least prior to their respective Aussie runs) to see if Murray might be a viable permanent 2016 partner, or did they simply hook up at Rotterdam/Dubai because they both needed a partner just for those tournaments?

In any case, let’s win Rotterdam and Dubai to guarantee Rio for Nestor.

  2. Was there any thought to Pospisil/Nestor playing together in Rotterdam/dubai? (Pospisil/Mahut lost 1st round last year and are back this year. )

Was Murray already committed to Soares for 2016 at the time Nestor/Soares signed up for Rotterdam/Dubai? Or was Rotterdam/Dubai originally intended to be a trial run for Nestor/Murray to be a 2016 doubles team (if Soares/Murray had tanked down under)?

I know Soares is in South America, so if Nestor/Murray in Rotterdam/Dubai was not originally meant to be a trial run, why wouldn’t Nestor have paired with Pospisil?

Obviously, it would have been temporary only, but one would think Nestor/Pospisil would be a better matchup than Nestor/Murray unless Nestor was looking at Murray as a possible permanent 2016 partner.

    • You’re WAY overthinking this. None of your theories are even close!
Plus, if you read my stories from Oz, you’d know that Nestor considers Murray the best doubles player out there ATM.
