  1. Wonder who won the 3-day prequalie in Toronto, for the last WCs in Qs for Rogers. Tennis Canada doing a poor job at updating us on it. Thanks.

  2. Do you know what happened after the Abanda-Fernandez match on Saturday? It was hard to tell on the ITF stream because the camera was kind of far away, but it looked like Fernandez went to shake Abanda’s hand & Abanda turned away & Fernandez was left holding her hand out. Then, it looked like Abanda may have turned around, & shook her hand as she was walking away. I thought Abanda might have been upset because Fernandez took so long for the handshake because she was hugging the people in her camp. Tks.

  3. Any news on Bianca? Did she further damage her shoulder by playing in the French Open? Is there any word on when she might return to action? Tks.

    • She’s still entered in Washington, D.C. next week. If she pulls out, I’ll have the news on @tennislifenews on Twitter.

      • Tks. I will check the tennislife Twitter account next week for any news. And, tks for keeping us up-to-date on what is happening with our Canadian players, & for giving us this platform to ask questions, & for always answering. It is really appreciated.
