  1. Thanks again for the tennis updates- especially the Canadian content; much appreciated. I think somebody else has already asked- will the rankings of both Denis and Felix reflect the titles each won respectively in the last 2 weeks? There seems to be no change in their rankings points.

    • The Challenger results are posted the following Monday (same as the ATP events). The 25Ks take a week. So big bump all at once on Monday.

    • Shapovalov will clock in at about No. 220 – if he wins his next match. FAA at about No. 375 – if he wins his next. He’s already up more than 100 spots as it is.

      • Thank you so much for the intelligent and and insightful commentary, for both Canadians and all tennis players. Knee-jerk reactionary commentary is the rule on the internet, and you constantly push against it…thank you!

Drummondville stream is my best and latest chance to watch FAA and DS for a number of matches. I would love to hear your thoughts on the 2 most important themes they should each take going forward, if you have any ideas. I am a tennis novice, and would love to see what a veteran might say. To me, they both have very unique strengths…less certain about weaknesses…and am open to anything.

        • Hey Tom – thanks for the kind words. Would love to but knee-deep in tennis coverage for Tennis.Life at the moment. No time to even ponder it to give you the answer you deserve. Short answer is that they have to get better at EVERYTHING; not just two.

          • no problem. go do your work! I will ask again someday, and it should still be relevant.

      • Steph, Hope all is well. Wodnering if Shapo also has Futures points from last week as well? Pat

        • Yes, both will be added. on. He should clock in at a career-high No. 209 if loses, crack the top 200 somewhere around No. 194 if he wins.

          • Great result today, also good to see felix jumping up
