Tough draw for Caroline Wozniacki, against an inspired Victoria Azarenka in the second round.

Another early casualty among the former No. 1s, along with Ana Ivanovic, we spotted her out on the practice courts on a couple of occasions.

For the first batch, she was (inexplicably) working on some sort of slice forehand approach/volley combo. Give us a shout if you ever actually see this in a match on a regular basis.

Verdicts:

Mom: bored

Hitting partner: cute

Dad: Same old, but somehow seems mellower.
