The dust settled on Fed Cup, but the Genie Bouchard opinion train rolls on

Social media continues to be harsh on Genie Bouchard, after a tough Fed Cup weekend.

Rival Simona Halep also weighs in, Radio-Canada consults a sports psychologist and Alexandra Dulgheru talks about the pressure a top-10 player faces.

More on all that, and on the media, at Yahoo!’s Eh Game.

  1. Madame,

La réaction sur le Net crée un grossier déséquilibre quantitatif et qualitatif vs. l’absence d’un geste de la part de Eugenie Bouchard.

    Très cordiales salutations,

  2. I was at the players party in Antwerp, Belgium February 9th and Genie looked rather pale to me. She was fine when doing her interviews, and was in her element doing the fan signings and associated photos and selfies. Then in the time it took to walk 10 paces to the stairs it all changed. She stopped, looked around as if lost or thinking of whether to go to the bar, then trudged up the stairs head down cutting a sad and lonely figure. The body language was awful. I knew all was not well and I’m really not surprised about what has happened since.
