  1. Just to finish off with the WTA 125K Challenger… it looks like you are at Indian Wells….
    Why did V Azarenka not take the opportunity to actually play in this thing?? Since apparently she is and will be restricted to tournaments in California (of which these are the only two till late summer), it seems like a bad move. Is it hubris… that she would not lower herself to play in an event that she perceives to be “below her”?? Or is she actually afraid of a probable early loss to a low ranked player??? Where an early loss at the IW big one could be acceptable.

    • I doubt she thinks it’s “below her”. I’m not 1000% sure she’ll even play yet. I guess we’ll see at the draw.
