Yahoo!: Federer happy to be back at Wimbledon, but there are hints he’s not 100%

WIMBLEDON – The Tweet caused some consternation.

But that’s what Roger Federer really looked like on the practice court Friday. And then, he cancelled a scheduled Saturday hit with Kei Nishikori.

  1. Why in the world is Zverev on Court 16? Are the organizers of the tournament clueless? Fritz could be an American future hope, but he made a very strange comment recently that will not endear him to US fans. Thank goodness for WATCH ESPN so we can watch all of the matches without sound. Most of the commentators on ESPN do not shut up. Maybe things are better in the UK?

    • The court scheduling has nothing to do with Fritz – obviously – but the high seed of his opponent.

I don’t know what it sounds like in the UK because I’m never watching it on television.
