NEW YORK – The timing was good – Kei Nishikori and Novak Djokovic were done, and Roger Federer and Marin Cilic hadn’t gotten under way.
If there can be good timing for rain the day of the U.S. Open semi-finals, that is.
The amazing thing is that the weather was predicted well in advance. Yet, thousands of New Yorkers failed to bring umbrellas to the tennis. Total fail.
