Well, we can hope.
Williams, who isn’t on the schedule of play Wednesday, will hit City Hall at 3:15 p.m. this afternoon to meet maverick Quebec City mayor Régis Labeaume and sign the city’s “golden book”.
After that, it’s on to the Club de curling Jacques-Cartier.
You don’t have to understand French to figure out what the principal activity enjoyed at that club is.
Will Venus HURRRRRRRY HARRRRRRRRD?
Or will she wimp out?
She might worry a little about injury, but we can only hope.
If she does, that will zoom right into the top 5 most awesome tennis photo-ops – ever.
