WIMBLEDON – A final full practice for Federer Sunday.
Roger Federer was in rather better spirits Sunday as he practiced with lefty Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic Sunday at Aorangi Park.
Immersed right in the middle of the practice courts, players and coaches all around, he thoughtfully stayed on the far side of the court for more than 40 minutes of his practice session – the better to give all the assembled photogs (who shuttled between him and Andy Murray, who was hitting at the same time), his best side for most of the hour. Photographer and TV access at the practice courts is limited to just a few courts, and on some of them, only on one side of the court. Good chance he knows that; he doesn’t miss much. 🙂
Finally, after playing a few games, he alternated sides with Vesely.
