MONTREAL – An hour and a half with Elena Vesnina, another 20 minutes with Coach Saviano.
Genie Bouchard’s practice Saturday at the Rogers Cup arguably had as many people in attendance as her first-round match against Camila Giorgi in Washington, D.C. four days before.
Bouchard and Vesnina are pretty friendly; they’ve practiced on numerous occasions, and they gabbed like besties the whole way up when they ran into each at Wimbledon a few weeks ago, as everyone was headed up to the rooftop TV complex to do interviews.
