The match between Conny Perrin (No. 199) and Tara Moore (No. 152) in the second round of qualifying at the WTA Tour stop in Rabat, Morocco might not have shown up on the radar.
It was a match between frequent doubles partners, which is hard enough.
And it wasn’t the first time they played against each other.
But it was the first time on the WTA Tour … and the first time as an engaged couple.
Perrin and Moore got engaged in Sept. 2016 and probably surprised quite a few people with an announcement on Twitter. Perrin won, 6-1, 6-2.
