Berdych – Ivanisevic is over

Tomas Berdych isn’t having an awful year.

With a couple of exceptions, he’s lost to the best in the world. But that wasn’t enough to save Goran Ivanisevic’s job.

The partnership that began last summer ended Monday, a few days after Berdych’s second-round loss at the French Open.

“Goran and I will not be working together anymore. I enjoyed the ride and we will remain great friends. Wish him all the best in the future and I am committed to go after my goals with current team,” Berdych said in a short statement.
