It was going to happen eventually, right?
Daniel Nestor finally has put an end date on his stellar 30-year tennis career.
It will be either next summer’s Rogers Cup, at home in Toronto. Or perhaps the US Open a few weeks later.
“When you’re not having so much success on tour, it makes sense. And it would be my 30th Rogers Cup. If I could play the US Open too, that would be nice. The family loves that trip,” Nestor told Sportsnet.
Meanwhile, Nestor is playing Davis Cup for Canada this weekend – his 51st nomination.
