Genie Bouchard back, in ’18 Swimsuit Issue

Genie Bouchard’s spread in last winter’s Sports Illustrated annual swimsuit issue made a pretty big splash – in the tennis universe and well beyond.

It seems everyone involved was pretty happy about how it turned out.

So they’re going to do it again.

Tennis.Life is told that the 23-year-old Canadian already has shot the photos for a repeat performance in the 2018 edition.

Last fall, Bouchard made a flash 30-hour trip to the Turks & Caicos after the US Open, and before the WTA event in Quebec City.

This year, we’re told she hit Aruba last weekend for the new shots.

SI is notoriously cagey about who is in the issue every year – especially the cover model. They let out the information in dribs and drabs and post cryptic but provocative pics to start people guessing about the participants.

Christie Brinkley’s daughter Sailor is among the rookies the magazine has confirmed for the 2018 edition, which is due out in February 2018.

No word on whether Caroline Wozniacki, or maybe Serena Williams – the two other tennis players featured in the 2017 edition, will reprise.
