Kuznetsova has left wrist surgery

Svetlana Kuznetsova was in the running for the WTA Tour Finals this year. And she would have qualified for the second-tier finals in Zhuhai.

But the 32-year-old Russian struggled on court after the summer and after losing in the first round of Beijing, she shut down her season.

She has had “a small surgery” for a left wrist issue.

“It went very well and I should be completely okay and ready to go in few weeks with the hope for a great 2018 season,” Kuznetsova said on Instagram.

Yes, another wrist issue.
