After a five-year retirement, Canadian Rebecca Marino returned to action last month and tore up the Futures circuit in Turkey.
She has a ranking now – No. 628 – and talks to Tennis Channel about why she’s back.
Marino, 27, returned home after her comeback tour to rest the body and train.
She is next entered in a $25,000 ITF event in Kofu, Japan the week of March 26.
Fellow Canadians Bianca Andreescu (who already is competing on the Japan Futures circuit this week) and Charlotte Robillard-Millette also are entered in that event, so she’ll have some friendly faces.
