According to Blic, two men have been arrested in connection with the robbery of Miloslav Radisavljevic, the 83-year-old grandfather of Novak Djokovic’s wife Jelena Ristic.
The pre-trial judge recommended up to 30 days in custody for Branislav Matić, 36 and Dragan J., 38.
Blic reports Matić is well known to police, having served a total of 14 years in prison for robbery, grand theft and possession of an unregistered weapon.
The newspaper says Matić saw a TV show featuring Jelena Djokovic during his last stint in prison, and allegedly hatched a plan to kidnap her grandfather.
