Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal were in the same place at the same time for the first time since their planned December exhibition in Saudi Arabia was announced.
But neither player ventured beyond the noncommittal, citing a commitment made long ago – before the alleged brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

“I don’t like to involve myself in any political exchange or situations. It’s unfortunate that we are both drawn into this right now,” Djokovic said.
