Brother imposter to be arraigned Tuesday

Solomon Shlomo Azari, the man accused of posing as Genie Bouchard’s brother to run up some $42,000 in charges at the bar and restaurant at her Miami residential complex, will be arraigned Tuesday morning in Miami court.

Per the court records Azari, 24, was released on $22,500 bail on Aug. 19. On Aug. 22, he submitted a written plea of “not guilty” and asked for a jury trial.

Obviously, Bouchard is not involved. She has told police that she did not recognize the man.

Azari is charged with four felonies, including grand theft second degree, organized fraud, identity fraud and possession of cocaine.
