After nine years as the official supplier of rackets, strings and balls, Babolat is out at Roland Garros.
Wilson is in.
Wilson, which lost the Australian Open to Dunlop a year ago after 14 years, signed a five-year deal to provide a new tennis ball specially designed for the Roland Garros clay, and will be the official stringer as well.
It will have its own retail space, and will produce and sell some of the bags and accessories that Babolat did in the same role on site.
Wilson also becomes the official ball of the French Tennis federation.
