SBD Preview: Osaka vs. Azarenka in “Cincy” women’s final

When the top three seeds in the “Cincy” event – No. 1 Karolina Pliskova, No. 2 Sofia Kenin and No. 3 Serena Williams – went out early, it was anybody’s game.

That No. 4 Naomi Osaka is there isn’t so much of a surprise.

That Victoria Azarenka, who hadn’t won a match in nearly a year before coming into the US Open bubble, is also left standing on the last day is a great story.

They meet in the final Saturday, in Louis Armstrong at 11 a.m.
