On the penultimate day of the Olympic event in Tokyo, and there were a number of medals at stake.
Men’s bronze, mixed bronze women’s doubles bronze – and women’s gold and bronze.
Novak Djokovic had two shots at bronze medals – nothing compared to what he was hoping for going into Friday. But still – hardware.
And in somewhat of a shocker, he not only dropped the men’s singles match, he then pulled out of the mixed bronze-medal match because of a left shoulder injury.
