They’re already into the quarterfinals in Linz, as the first round-robin matches of the WTA Tour finals get under way in Guadalajara.

The WTA’s crown jewel event was pushed back a few days so there would be less overlap, and to give players who might have played the BJK Cup finals a little extra time (in the end, there was only one of the singles player – Barbora Krejcikova – who took part).
