GUADALAJARA, Mexico –  A few surprises in the women’s semifinals in Guadalajara – notably unseeded Marie Boukzova.

But the final won’t be determined until Sunday, as Maria Sakkari won the first set vs Bouzkova – but then the edges of Cyclone Roselyn intervened.

But with the eight singles sports determined, less angst than the previous days.

On the doubles side Haddad Maia and Danilina qualified for the WTA Finals by beating the Czechs. Tall order. But hey, dream big or go home. Not only did they make it, they’re also in the Guadalajara Open final.
