MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

’23 Australian Open – Day 6 men’s final results

MELBOURNE, Australia – Andy Murray got the night session on Margaret Court Arena again – a court he would have gotten … more than tired of during his overnight marathon Thursday night.

At least this time he got the 7 p.m. match.

And the schedulers, knowing what the man is capable of (although having a third one in him is a lot, even for Sir Andy), have a doubles match on after that, rather than a women’s singles match as is the norm. But there just wasn’t gas left in the tank.

On Rod Laver Arena at the same time, Novak Djokovic tested himself against Grigor Dimitrov. And easily passed the test.

(And Magda Linette and Ekaterina Alexandrova will have to wait that one out).

Melbourne is 16 hours ahead of Eastern time.
