MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

WTA – Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023 final results

Canadian qualifier Rebecca Marino got the late-night slot in Doha, as she took on No. 6 seed Daria Kasatkina.

The Canadian hung in there for awhile a long time; in the end, Kasatkina’s level – and game style, a patient, topspun game that’s a big challenge for a big hitter like Marino – prevailed.

Most of those matches were pretty strong, too: Kvitova vs. Zhang, Ostapenko vs Keys, and wild card Maria Sakkari vs Zheng Qinwen, notably.

(Doha, Qatar is eight hours ahead of ET, 11 hours ahead of PT)
