In Kitzbuhel, Dominic Thiem was into his first final in years. But it seemed that the journey to get there left him rather short on energy for the final.

In Los Cabos, the tennis was … late. As usual.

And in Toronto, five Canadians were vying for main draw spots at the qualifying begins. Only one got through.
