MELBOURNE, Australia – The day session didsn’t seem to have been a huge walk-up draw, as Rod Laver Arena was a long way from full.

Of course, it’s also hot out. But Medvedev-Hurkacz turned out to be pretty darn good.

But generally it’s a lot quieter around the grounds this Wednesday. Which given the abject lack of breathing space for more than a week there, is kind of a blessed relief.
