Alcaraz and Zverev and Rublev on the main stadium Sunday, with just eight matches on the docket.
Zverev faced Canadian Denis Shapovalov, into the third round on the strength of two solid wins against two very good clay-courters. He didn’t play poorly at all; Zverev was untouchable.
Alcaraz had no trouble; Rublev was pushed a bit – and it might have been a different story had he lost a long tiebreak in the first set. But he prevailed.
