The men’s semis were somewhat more on paper form than the womens.

But you just hoped that they ended up nearly as entertaining. Even if many of the previous matches between Novak Djokovic and Lorenzo Musetti have had some huge moments, Djokovic has found his way through all but one of them.

He found his way through this one too – in straight sets, no less – despite Musetti being often brilliant.

On the Cana-Kiwi side, Erin Routliffe had a semifinal doubleheader – women’s doubles with Gabriela Dabrowski and mixed with Michael Venus. She got the first one done, and they’re into the final. Amazing stuff.
