Mirra Andreeva, the No. 1 seed in Iasi, was back in action for the first time since her disappointment at Wimbledon. And victorious.

She is expected to make her Olympic debut, at age 17, next week.

In Prague, the bulk of the Czech Olympic team will be in action: Linda Noskova, Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova were in action.

Siniakova, who was a late addition in singles a few days ago, went out to Roland Garros junior finalist Laura Samson in singles. But she and Krejcikova, reunited for the Games, avenged that in doubles.
