Jabeur teamed up with Paula Badosa for doubles in D.C. But after winning their first match, they withdrew.

Jabeur had taken a pass on the Olympics because of the multiple surface changes. And you got the sense that she’s far from 100 per cent – which seems to be par for the course for her the last few years.

And, indeed, just a few hours before she was to play, Jabeur withdrew with a shoulder injury.
