While Félix Auger-Aliassime would have been more useful to his country in Montreal Saturday, as the Davis Cup team went down 0-2 in their tie vs. Hungary, it’s mission accomplished in Montpellier.
Auger-Aliassime, a finalist a year ago, was looking for his seventh career title – his second of the season – and faced qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic in the final.
He got through – barely – but he did.
