But the slow courts have done No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz well. They’ve also contributed to a renaissance for Daniil Medvedev (No. 5) and Holger Rune (No. 12).
And watch out for lucky No. 13 Jack Draper. He has had his physical travails as he’s risen in the rankings – a big unit, but not necessarily a sturdy one – but he’s coming. And he’s in the final.
