With a 10 a.m. start on a Monday morning at a WTA 125-level event in Portugal, Miami Open finalist Alexandra Eala returns to the tour and makes her clay-court season debut.
It’s rather low-key, to say the least. A women-only, lower-level tournament. But on some level, it’s probably a great idea to just ease right back after all the emotions and attention the 19-year-old Filipino lefty received during her fabulous run in Miami.
In the final round of qualifying, Can-American Carson Branstine will try to make the main draw.
