Gabriel Diallo was out quickly in London. Félix Auger-Aliassime went out in three sets in a mess of a clash with Karen Khachanov. And Shapovalov, who was two points away serving for it at 5-4 in the third v Flavio Cobolli, ended up on the short end of that one as well.
Team #Shauger took on the No. 2 seeds, Bolelli and Vavassori, for a spot in the Halle doubles final. But that one went quickly.
Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz scraped through in a marathon at Queen’s Club, while Jannik Sinner went out in three to Alexander Bublik in Halle.
(Halle is six hours ahead of EDT; London is five hours ahead).
