It was quarterfinal time in Seoul. And it was … semifinal time in Seoul.
The players had to double up on Saturday after rain wiped out all the singles on Friday.
Three of the players still involved in singles were still alive in doubles at the semifinal stages. So in the end, two of them – Katerina Siniakova and Maya Joint – had to play three matches.
Tough week.
