Shapovalov had the tougher task, on paper, with the higher seed Lehecka (who has been pretty quiet overall of late, though). Too tough, as it turned out.
And Alexander Zverev will try to cope with the slow, “unfavorable” court as he took on Arthur Rinderknech. Poor guy. He lost. Must have been the court.
