Last chance for a few players to salvage something from this year-end end – notably Alex de Minaur, who lost a tight one to home-country face Lorenzo Musetti and is 0-2 coming in.

Lorenzo Musetti would have to beat Carlos Alcaraz to get through – and given how much trouble Alcaraz had against a sore-kneed Taylor Fritz, and the fact that he’ll have the crowd roaring, why not give him a puncher’s chance.

The Italian team of Bolelli and Vavassori are looking good, and probably having a blast.
