Of the 16 seeds in this top half of the draw, 12 have survived and now, in the third round, they all start to meet.
None of them really stand out as “must-sees”, although seeing Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz play anyone is money well spent.
Djokovic needed three sets to get through his opener (and it appeared he went behind the boards to be sick during that win). So, good times. And he needed three most sets to scuffle through his second match.
Sunday was a warm day, but Monday will drop down nicely with a high of 23C. The hot weather comes back as of Wednesday.
