Quarterfinals in men’s singles and doubles were on tap, with the two top seeds in the bottom half of the singles draw still alive despite all the upsets.
And on the women’s side, it was semifinal day with Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova having a day of rest while No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka and No. 3 Elena Rybakina having to go back to back.
There wasn’t much drama, to say the least. Gauff owned Muchova – again.
And Sabalenka steamrolled Rybakina in a match that wasn’t as close as that score.
