On the second day of the main draw, players like Zeynep Sonmez and Karolina Pliskova got big slots on the main stadium, with Alexandra Eala on the second stadium.
Eala played veteran Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who sort of fell off the map for awhile but was impressive in qualifying for the main draw. The former Roland Garros finalist, currently ranked No. 116, will likely find herself in the qualifying in Paris as well.
In all, seven qualifiers and two lucky losers got through on the day.
