Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev, five years apart in age (can you believe Zverev is already 29) have met 13 times previously, as they face off in the Madrid singles final.

Sinner leads 9-4; He won their first meeting in the fall 2020 edition of Roland Garros. And then he lost four straight.

And since then he’s won eight straight. They playede four times in 2025, and this will be their fourth meeting of 2026.

Only in the first three did Zverev take a set. Since then, Sinner has won 10 straight sets. They et in the semis of both Indian Wells and Miami. And also in Monte Carlo.
