The packed 48-player draw in D.C. (which really should get under way on the Sunday, but doesn’t), doesn’t feature any of the 16 seeds. But it did have Gaël Monfils in the night session.

In Los Cabos, a much smaller draw but two Canadians – Gabriel Diallo and Canadian-Chilean Alejandro Tabilo were in action Monday, but both went down.

Cabo is three hours behind EDT. And they don’t start before 6 p.m. because of the heat. So with Kitbuhel starting at 5 a.m. EDT, and Cabos not finishing before about 3 a.m. EDT, tennis is basically going to be 24/7 this week.

No joke.
