A lot of early exits by top seeds put Félix Auger-Aliassime is into the final of the ATP 500 in Dubai.
After a pair of three-set wins, he got qualifier Quentin Halys – whom he played just last week in the first round in Doha and squeezed past in a third-set tiebreak.
This one didn’t go that far, but it was still Auger-Aliassime’s third straight three-setter.
Denis Shapovalov is trying to do the same thing in Acapulco.
