Three of the eight seeds with byes got on court Tuesday: No. 1 Alexander Zverev. No. 5 Jack Draper and No. 6 Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Zverev got Berrettini, which is no picnic. To say the least. And he goes down again.

Draper, on the other hand, looked incredible.

Frances Tiafoe, disappointed in the Houston final late Tuesday, had little turnaround as he plays the solid Miomir Kecmanovic later on Tuesday afternoon. That one smelled like an upset, because Kecmanovic can play. And indeed, Tiafoe barely squeaked through.
