Good final in store in Stuttgart – as you would expect from a 500-level tournament with likely the toughest field at that level all year. But Karolina Muchova ran out of gas after a tough week, and Elena Rybakina wins her second Porsche.

And in Rouen, No. 1 seed Marta Kostyuk was looking for the title against a countrywoman in her first career WTA tournament. And she got it.

Also of note in Rouen was the rather unknown Czech team of Maleckova and Skoch. They were surprise finalists in Linz last week, a 500 event, and are into the final again. But this time, as the favorites. And they won.
